There's a great saying, "Every success was once a failure." Then every failure has the potential to be a success! People who succeed in keeping their commitments aren't necessarily the people who never slip up. Whenever they do slip, they just re-commit. That's all. Remove the drama from what appears to be failure and it's just another day, another meal. In fact, old drama is likely what's keeping you in your weight dilemma.
When you go off your diet plan, chances are you also begin either beating yourself up or saying ,"who cares? I don't have to diet if I don't want to" or whatever your own personal thought process happens to be.
Here's a trick. Imagine the "person" who went off your diet isn't really you, but is that person who's been living inside you who just can't keep to a diet. Now, ask him or her if they would kindly sit on the sofa while you go about your business or eat a healthy meal. Really imagine the person who may be overweight or not a healthy eater actually sitting there - away from you.
What's left? Your real self. You're not your thoughts or your drama or your impression of yourself. You are unlimited potential every moment. When we can separate ourselves from that old unhealthy thinking and live in this moment, change happens naturally and happily.
